Your live class is just a hop away.
🎥 Set up a live class with Google Meet
- Teacher: open Google Meet in a new tab and sign in to your own Google account.
- Create a meeting and copy its meeting link.
- Back here, choose Teacher, add or select your group, and tap Plan a live class. Paste the Meet link into Video meeting link.
- Save the class, then use Copy class link to share the app invitation with your group.
- Students: sign in to the classroom and tap Join class. Your teacher may need to admit you in Google Meet.
Google shows a 400 error?
Open the Google Meet app directly, or type meet.google.com into a fresh Chrome tab. Sign in there, create a meeting for later and copy its meeting link. Return here and edit your class to paste that link. If the setup button redirects to an account error, use the Meet app instead.
This app does not access your Gmail or Google password. Camera and microphone permission is requested by the meeting provider. Guest joining depends on the host’s settings. Recording is optional and controlled by the host; replays appear only when your teacher shares a permitted recording link.
The app invitation opens your class in this app. The actual video meeting opens with your chosen provider. In-app private video hosting is not enabled.
