Trial & membership terms
Updated October 26, 2026.
1. Seven-day free trial
Eligible first-time Vocabumi subscribers receive 7 days free after successfully completing secure checkout with a payment method. The trial does not start merely by visiting, creating an account or starting a lesson. The exact trial end date will appear at checkout. Returning subscribers are not entitled to repeat free trials.
2. $2.99 per month and automatic renewal
After the trial, the subscription renews automatically at USD $2.99 each month until canceled. Any applicable tax and the total charge must be disclosed at checkout. By explicitly confirming a subscription at checkout, the subscriber authorizes the recurring charges shown there. A price change will not silently alter the amount disclosed for an existing agreement; any required notice or consent will be provided before a change takes effect.
3. Cancellation
Cancel through secure membership management before the trial ends to avoid the first subscription charge. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid the next charge. Cancellation must be confirmed by the billing service; opening a cancellation page alone does not complete it. Unless the confirmation states otherwise, access continues to the end of the confirmed trial or paid period. Deleting the app, signing out or clearing browser data does not cancel a subscription.
4. Billing help and refunds
Before billing is enabled, the checkout and membership page will identify the merchant and provide a working billing-support and cancellation route. Once subscribed, keep your receipt and contact the merchant through those details for billing errors or refund requests. These terms do not limit rights provided by applicable law.
5. What the learning levels mean
Kindergarten, elementary, junior high, high school, college, university, master’s and PhD are names for increasingly demanding study paths. Vocabumi is a practice and teaching tool; it is not an accredited school and does not award degrees, credit, professional qualifications or guaranteed fluency. Class completion records practice, not a validated proficiency assessment. Advanced research work requires appropriate supervision and feedback.
6. Accounts, younger learners and classrooms
An adult must create and manage accounts used by younger learners. Teachers manage the classes they create; students join with a class code. Keep class codes and sign-in details private. Only submit work that you are allowed to share. Do not put sensitive personal information, passwords or other people’s private records in an assignment response.
7. Learning data and audio
Self-guided lesson progress and class drafts are stored in your browser on this device and can be lost if its storage is cleared. Download important drafts. Teacher assignments, submissions and feedback are saved to the classroom service and are visible to the relevant teacher and student. Classroom accounts currently use the existing Books of Tongues account service, with separate classes and assignments for this app. Pronunciation may use your device’s voice service or a bundled synthetic guide; voice availability and quality vary.
8. Separate membership
Vocabumi, Books of Tongues and ApexFlex are separate products. A subscription to one does not automatically create or cancel a subscription to another. The price on this page applies only to Vocabumi.
9. Respectful use
Use the app for lawful learning and teaching. Respect other learners and the rights of workbook authors. Share only material you own, have permission to use, or can lawfully use for the activity. Do not upload harmful content or attempt to access another person’s classroom or account.
